Three Bag WIP

Easy Tunisian crochet for catching up on TV. The most complicated bit is juggling three groups of yarn, but once they are in the plastic bags, it's not too bad. Ugly, but easy to deal with.

Stashbuster Three-Color Tunisian Blanket. Forty inches wide. Two feet in length, to date. Very airy, so it may not consume as much yarn as I had hoped, but I am pleased with the color combination.

Color Story WIP

Choosing yarns for this project (Stash Buster Blanket in Three-Color Tunisian Crochet this time in a light, airy gauge) was easy, because so much of my stash yarn tells the same color story: teal, terra cotta, green.

Four yarns, nine colors, no new purchases:

After I chose the yarns I remembered the upholstered bench in the living room. Guess this is my story and I'm sticking to it.

Three-color Tunisian Crochet Cushion Cover

Pretty happy with the way these turned out. Good back support in my knitting chair. Looks nice on the stairway as well. Unhappy that it took me two years to get around to finishing them. Now on a crusade to finish up or abandon the antique works in progress.

Friday and for finished.

One of the two cushions is done.

Used Stitch Diva's 3-color Tunisian technique laid out in her Stashbuster Blanket pattern.

12" x 16" Complete with"decorator chop" styling;)

After I worked the top, I edged it with a couple of rows of slip stitch in the dark gray yarn, and then used that yarn to whip stitch the top to the gray felt back. Not the best yarn to use for sewing (loosely plied, breaks easily), but I think it looks good if you don't look too closely at my uneven whip stitches.

One down, one to go.
